I chose the example of Egypt to demonstrate the dependency of cities to certain infrastructue, in this case water. As it gets obvious in this satelite image, the African country depends on water a lot. All major cities (exept for Sinai and El Fayoum) gather along the Nile river, where they have access to drinking water, irrigation, nutrients and transport.
