Picture shows the Municipality building in Pancevo, Serbia, which is highly dependent to Split system AC units in order to achieve thermal comfort within the building. The second photo shows the dependency of public transportation in Belgrade, Serbia, to electric energy. The photo shows the electric grid in the Kneza Milosa Street which is used to power trolleys which are the part of the public transportation system in Belgrade. The third photo shows the construction site of the E1 House just outside Belgrade, Serbia. It shows how even more sustainable solutions like evacuated solar collectors and air-source heat pumps are dependent to electric energy because it powers the system of pumps that circulate the transfer fluids through both systems.
