Transforming the transport infrastructure, Guadalajara, Mexico
FC-01x Future Cities (1st Run) - Task 2

A group of cyclists reunite after a protest ride condemning the death of Don Gus, a well known cyclist killed in an accident by a motor vehicle. In Guadalajara, cyclist movement has been growing over the years, to the point that last year the first public bicycle program was created (the red bicycles that are behind the two people), giving place to new bike lanes and bike priority streets. In a city where the number of cars keeps increasing, traffic has become unbearable to many, and public transport is slow and unsafe, people are finding alternatives to improve the way they move around the city. This can be seen as a bottom-up process, where activists and communities have been working to influence the decisions the government makes.
