![enter image description here][1] Next to the small airport building of Polokwane, I admired a small, impressing exhibition coping with sustainable villages in the Hinterland of cities. On the maquette a big water reservoir, a mall and an office park are presented. It explains that the combination of rural and urban systems will be one of the main urban system design challenges of the future.
