People live where they live either because they are born there and have connections that cannot be broken, or they moved someplace different in search of work or other personal reasons. I was born raised and lived in Athens Greece, and for the last 6 months i reside in Sparta, Peloponnese, Greece. I came here for work and that is the only reason. The construction company where i work send me here for the period of a year in order to help in the road we are constructing. But by living here, i realized that this quiet and rich little city is not as bad as it sounded. Its crazy safe, and the routes are all so easy, everything is so close to everything else and of course people are extra friendly due to the fact that the stress of living in a large city does not exist. According to my criteria Sparta reaches a 60% and she could possibly have a score of 50-55%. I really dont think i am qualified to make changes in a city but if i could, i would make the transportation that is almost non existent, better, i would make the houses more eco-friendly and i would try to inform people about livability and those things. I will probably move back home in athens but in case i had the opportunity to move anywhere in the world, i would like to move to Boston city because i think its more humane and quiet that New York city, either in San Frascisco becuase i think its a culture center, i would love to move to spain, maybe Madrid or Barcelona.
