These are not images of a sustainable city. The need of air condition devices in every apartment in the center of Athens is contradictory to the good climate conditions and comes as a result of the suffocating built environment. The electric cables show the journey of the electricity until it reaches every house. Another important aspect shown in these pictures is the impact of these infrastructures on the urban and architectural form. The air conditioning devices form a “skin” on the building and the electric cables form a layer above our heads.
