Power plants, recycling plants and waste management factories are located in this area, creating a utility corridor along the line of the city center. The zoning has played a role in the development of the city horizontally, as it still reaches the parts where future districts and developments will rise. The city is highly dependent on energy to continue with it's everyday processes, which is similar to all cities in the world.
