It feels like the city stands like a christmas tree. Every single night it blinks and blinds with its myriad buildings, towers, houses that live on electric energy. It would be impossible to sustain this ecosystem of consumption without unbelievable amounts of energy. It is no surprise energy production has already become a huge problem in Brazil. The electricity on the country is mainly generated by hydropower. That means, without the right increase of water volume, there is no increase in the amount of electricty produced. Just a couple of months without proper rain can lead to serious blackouts on those cities, causing major money loss and can create all sorts of havoc.
