1. k. Job Opportunities. 2. h. Housing. 3. n. Safety 4. g. Health Care. 5. e. Environment. **Ad 2. Why do we live where we live?** You ask very personal question, which for me cannot be categorized. I live in [Wrocław][1] because it is my HEIMAT. I want to see my city growing and developing according to green and sustainable standards. Therefore I would like to become "plug-in citizen", to experience living in other cites without loosing touch with my birthplace. To copy, move and implement the best solutions in my city from other places in the world. If not me, then who? I think this is challange to be pionieer of new ideas in this rather a bit backward (still in 70's) social and political environment. It is much more exciting, it's a purpose, than simple moving for work from place to place. I would summarize this reasons with word HEIMATTREUE - faithfulness to home town, my place! To convince You to my statement I'll post some pictures, you will see how beautiful Wrocław is: ![The Cathedral][2] ![The Monopoly Hotel][3] ![The Fencer][4] ![Renovated house][5] **Ad 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** In my opinion there's nothing wrong with my particular living place. The livability of my place of residence is coupled with the livability of the whole city. In other words problems in Wrocław begins with service quality at the city level. So, in my opinion the general score of Wrocław is only 30. **Ad 4. What would you change?** I would start from general improving of Mass Transit System, which now is rather appaling. Absolute priority for trams, compliance the timetable, renovating infrastructure as the need arise. Than slowly closing streets for cars, or implementing "zone below 30 km/h". Starting from historical core, moving outside through 19th century city. Then renovating of old, 19th century historical buildings, which needs to be switch to the sustainable energy standard. Needs also general improvement of living conditions. To get rid too many blocks of flats in big panel technology. They are social ticking time bomb, they are a socialist form of urban sprawl. Car-traffic-generating likewise the american suburbs. Finally, building relations and connections to neighbouring cities, so that cities in the region could replace the role of the suburbs. I mean, well design and mange neighbouring cities are taking over the pros of the todays suburbs, which are rather side effect. **Ad 5. Why do we move?** I would move because of education. So these general criteria: 1. Education 2. Job Offers 3. Safety 4. Housing 5. Transportation refers to these locations: 1.London. 2. Boston. 3. Ruhrgebiet. .
