The basic requirements, work and transport are very well maintained, but the quality of the place is generally low. 4: If I were mayor I would consider immediately reducing the rights of drivers within London. Private car congestion is a significant hazard and pollutant generator that degrades the air, takes up space for road and car parks that could be more useful to support liveability, and would reduce the need for wide street canyons to fit cars. Increased reliance on bicycles would increase public health, and increased reliance on public transport would create increased energy efficiency and reduce transport spending for residents. 5: Places I might like to live: Copenhagen; largely well known for its extremely happy population, good climate and low pollution, culturally interesting and known to be good for adverts. Sheffield: Familiar territory from my home town, fresh air, generally cooler climate, simpler and happier life, access to recreational countryside Zurich: Culturally interesting, well paying work, family ties, cool climate, highly recreation rural areas easily accessed.
