Solar panels not only remind us that we have a great need for energy, and energy infrastructure, but they also hint that energy infrastructure needn't be a one way street (from electrical plant to location of need). Rather, new ways of generating electricity locally can make energy infrastructure a 2-way street. And this power source is not only local, it's green! We need more solutions like this if our energy future is truly going to be a sustainable one.
