As bicycles become more and more popular and also encouraged, the road planning has to adapt to the needs of this requirements. The photographs show two approaches 1. Part of footpath is allocated to cycle track which is flexible for use by pedestrians and cyclists. 2. The second part of image shows dedicated tracks for bicycles and pedestrians which is not flexible.
