We can see the the electricity infrastructure towards the banks of the river as well as the Samuel Beckett bridge which was positioned at 2009 for connecting Sir John Rogerson's Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to the Docklands area. The bridge has 2 lanes for pedestrians and 4 lanes for car traffic and is aimed to reduce the traffic on the downstream bridges especially during high peak hours. It can also rotate along one pylon thus allowing ships to pass through. It is a visible example of transportation infrastructure with critical effect on urban environment by minimizing the traffic and pollution from excess circulation in the banks of the river Liffey.![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14163482883170292.jpg
