As seen at the photo, taken underneath my house- electricity is present through the public lights, the lights from the house and if you look closer you can see the electric train (which is part of the metro line). In general, the city has started to have issues on energy efficiency and it is really common having blackouts during the hottest days of summer due to excessive use of air-conditions. There has been some effort on using more sustainable ways of producing energy with the wind and solar energy, but it's still in a small scale.
