1. Job opportunities 2. Housing 3. Economy 4. Safety 5. Recreation possibilities 2.- Why do we live where we live? I live in Toronto, Canada. I just moved from México City. ![TORONTO][1] ![TORONTO SUMMER][2] The main reasons to move to Toronto were: 1. Environment 2. Education for my son 3. Job opportunities 4. Safety 5. Economy ![enter image description here][3] 3.- To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? 0-100 1. Job opportunities: 50 2. Housing (affordability and access): 10 3. Economy: 70 4. Safety: 98 5. Recreation possibilities: 98 Due to housing and job opportunities are my priority, I would give a general a score of 65, because livability would decrease as a result of the commuting time between job and residence place that is far away from employment areas. Houses values are overpriced in this city, then people have to live far away from job places or rent forever. 4 What would you change? If I were mayor of Toronto, I would improve the housing policies and create government programs to help people to have more housing financing options 5. Why do we move? If I would change my place of residence I would move to 1.- San Diego, USA: Job opportunities, climate, environment (closer to my background), more housing options, international connectivity, close to my home land 2. Pachuca, Mexico: Home land, Cultural heritage, family network, deeper friendship connections, beautiful nature and landscapes 3. Montreal: Job opportunities, international connectivity, beautiful city, high cultural values, looks like more friendly society.
