Sydney and Australia rely on electricity for heating and power and transportation by trains. We do have solar and photovoltaic panels that are mainly on roofs but only a small percentage of the community have them so the power generated isnt enough when sold back to the grid to produce enough electricity for the community. To make Australia more sustainable and cleaner, energy needs to be created by alternate means than coal. A sustainable way would be to create roof coverings that absorb energy from the sun and store it so that it can be used when needed. Australia is a warm climate that has year round sun.
