The height of the cables are the main problem because bigger trucks bring the cables down and causes problems like this one. Costa Rica should use subterranean cables and ducts so it wouldn't affect with the safety problems, nature and it's green scenery. The country has one of the most expensive electrical price in latin america still there is some diversification in energy production. There is an investment in wind power and solar power still most of the energy comes form hydroelectric plants. It is really important to keep investing in sustainable energy and not depend mainly on hydroelectricity because in the summer there are always shortage electricity problems.
