• Economic Development & Job Opportunities • Infrastructure • Culture & Recreation possibilities • Safety • Transportation **2. Why do we live where we live?** • Career Opportunities: I live in Lima above all for professional reasons. As the capital of Peru, Lima has the most job and education opportunities. • Development & Infrastructure: With a good economic development, Lima has so much to offer in infrastructure e.g. education, health care, etc. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][1] • Environment: Lima has many museums with interesting art expos, nice restaurants on the coast, and districts like Barranco and Miraflores that have a more cultural environment. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][2] • International Connectivity: Lima has the main international airport of my country, so mostly, if you want to go overseas, you have to come through this place. • Climate: As many people know, Peru has three regions: Coast, Highlands and Amazon, but for me the best weather is on the coast; not so cold, not so warm. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí] ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][3] **3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** • Economic development & Job Opportunities (80/100) • Infrastructure (70/100) • Culture & Recreation possibilities (60/100) • Safety (50/100) • Transportation (50/100) **4. What would you change?** Lima, like many big cities, has problems: Transportation: Our actual system doesn´t satisfy our transport demand. There is a lot of traffic and vehicular congestion at all times. Recreation Possibilities: We don’t have enough recreation areas to share time with our families and play with our kids. When it comes to green areas, Lima has 1 square meter per inhabitant, although international standards establish from 8 to 15 square meters per inhabitant to be considered a healthy urban city Working to enhance my city in those subjects is my priority. We need an integral urban plan for our city that includes a multisectorial group of specialists that work together to solve those problems. **5. Why do we move?** • Melbourne • Amsterdam • Vienna All of those cities have a good quality of life [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14456605075031468.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14456605568171858.jpg
