2. What Happens to Developing Countries that lack the means, technical know-How or sometimes the discipline to even generate the Data that will Give Us the Invisible-Visible Information to better Future Cities. ![Aerial view of CMS, Lagos Island Axis Photo Credit: Lanre Shonoiki][1] *Aerial view of CMS, Lagos Island Axis Photo Credit: Lanre Shonoiki* I find myself fascinated at the Idea of Future Cities and its Potential to Correct Possible Future Urban/Cities Problems, but Looking at it from the African Perspective [*personal Opinion*] the Very Distinction by words "developed" and "developing" -Countries between the West and Africa seems to suggest that An African Scenario of Future Cities will Vary from That of the West. For Instance as Suggested in One of the Videos,[urban planners sometimes Rely on experience which is not enough] in Africa, due to Lack of data and Information most UrbanPlanners and Architects end Up Copying, or using methods based on Western Standards that have not been Analysed or tested for our own Scenarios. Most a times such Schemes end up failing and the result is always a kind of Organised Chaos because the People always have a way of surviving. I am NOT drawing a Conclusion here but will Like to Finish This Course and see How It Can be Used to Better African FUTURE CITIES. Am Most Happy Doing this Course Now.
