1. Five most liveable cities that I know: They are all from my state, **Santa Catarina, Brazil** a) [Florianópolis (capital)][2] b) [Blumenau][3] c) [Rancho Queimado][4] d) [Urussanga][5] e) [Itá][6] ![Mapa das cidades][7] 2. Five characteristics that according to my opinion make a city liveable (not including political issues): a) Climate b) People's mutual respect c) Urban landscape d) Mobility e) Scale 3. Status of my own city in terms of the five characteristics listed above. My city, Florianópolis, SC, Brazil, has a balanced climate: hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but not in a disabling intensity. Its people enjoy the city and has a friendly and simple manner of living. Its urban landscape, although not an architectural perfection, doesn't hides the natural landscape. Its mobility, on the other hand, has many flaws, specially in the summer with the arriving of thousands of tourists. Finally, its scale is big enough to contain many differents sites and neighbourhoods and small enough to know a great part in a casual ride.
