Job opportunities Culture Housing Transport Environment Education 2. Why I live where I live (Fulham, London) - Job Opportunities / job switching opportunities if want to change career - london key for my specialism - low cost of rent (unique personal set-up, living with friend) - Familiarity (I know London well) - Global influence of the city; it's a centre of global trends and decision making - Culture ![Typical terrace housing in Fulham, London][1] 3. To what extent does it fulfil my ideal living criteria: - Job opportunities: 99 - Culture: 60 - Housing: 30 - Transport: 50 - Environment: 50 - Education: 80 4. What would I change about London? - Radically reduce car usage - by focusing on sharing schemes, and number plate restrictions; increase bike usage - rental cost controls, and restrictions on foreigners buying property if they don't intend to live here 5. Cities I would move to and why - Bristol: more manageable size, better access to countryside, good culture, lower cost of living - Amsterdam: more manageable size, transport by bikes, cultural values less conspicuous consumption/competition - Berlin: lower cost of living, slightly smaller than london, cultural values more socially orientated [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14444880615096541.jpg
