1. Housing 2. Safety 3. Job opportunities 4. Education 5. Environment **2) London (Shepherd's Bush neighbourhood), UK** The main 5 reasons are as follows: 1. my partner lives and works in London, 2. relatively easy to find a job, 3. loads of (higher) educational institutions (universities, research centres, museums, etc.), 4. good environment (here I mean Shepherd's Bush in particular) -- very diverse ethnically, all age groups live here, there are parks around, close to the river, etc., 5. ok or good basic infrastructure - housing, shops, restaurants, transportation Here are three semi-random images -- the first one is the view from my window: ![The view from my window][1] The second one is the picture of the Ravenscourt Park underground station (not all of the undergound is underground :-) ![Ravenscourt Park underground station][2] And the last one is a photo of the current construction of Imperial West, the new campus of Imperial College London: ![Construction of Imperial West][3] **3) Livability criteria score:** Housing: **60** - Safety: **90** - Job opportunities: **100** - Education: **90** - Environment: **80** General score: **84** (average of the above) *Comments:* Housing is extremely expensive and the quality you get for your money is not good. I feel very safe in my neighbourhood of London, but that cannot be extrapolated to whole London, unfortunately. Education is great here, but it might be quite expensive too. Environment - well, London is a huge urban area and even though there are beautiful parks around, I do miss the countryside now and then (I like biking for example). **4) What would I change?** Availability of affordable housing since there is a huge shortage of reasonably priced quality flats. **5) Why and where would I move?** 1. wherever my partner gets another job, likely England, UK 2. Brno, Czech Republic -- this is my birthplace, my parents and grandparents live there 3. Lisboa, Portugal -- when I was there I liked the environment (the sun and the sea, the food and the wine), but also Portugal is a country with developing modern economy (though there were some problems there too) And the qualities or reasons are: 1. following my partner, 2. relative closeness to my parents and grandparents, 3. good environment (applies both to Brno and Lisboa), 4. job opportunities, 5. safety [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14458970348284058.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14458971359642105.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14458972261053272.jpg
