1) Safety 2) Environment 3) Infrastructure 4) Transportation 5) Job opportunities **2 - Why do we live where we live?** I live in a town called Wahroonga, a suburb in the north of Sydney, Australia. The main reasons why I live here: 1) I moved to Australia from Europe because I met my husband here and we decided to live in the Sydney area to be near his daughter. In Wahroonga itself: 2) Environment – very green (a lot of trees and animals), and peaceful, away from the noise and chaos of the city 3) Safe – low crime rate, can travel on train at night without feeling threatened 4) Good schools 5) Good access to shops and amenities and to Sydney itself (direct train line) ![The street where I Live][1] ![Cockatoos visiting my garden and deck][2] **3 - To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** 1) Safety – 95/100 2) Environment – 95/100 3) Infrastructure – 80/100 4) Transportation – 75/100 5) Job opportunities – 50/100 (although there are jobs in the area, most people need to travel to the Sydney CDB for work) General livability score for Wahroonga: 80/100 **4 - What would you change?** I would like to introduce better public transport (more bus routes and more frequent buses) to reduce dependence on cars hence congestion. **5 - Why do we move?** Places where I might choose to move to in case I decided to change place of residence 1) Brighton, Sussex, England 2) Amsterdam, The Netherlands 3) Lisbon, Portugal 5 qualities of these places that play a role in my decision process. 1) Environment 2) Infrastructure 3) International Connectivity 4) Safety 5) Culture [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14444499369311052.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14444505476600596.jpg
