Hi. I am going to describe according with where I have been living in the last 3 years: Graz, in Austria. I moved a couple of weeks ago to the Netherlands (due to working opportunities for the record), but I do not have yet a fixed place to live here. It was Graz the city I chose to live in for some time. *Top livability criteria:* - Health Care - Job Opportunities - Safety - Transportation - Environment *Why Graz* So, I stayed in Graz (jn a street right in the center) after finishing my Master studies for a number of reasons: The place is boling with lively activity; for me is important the feeling of being living in an "alive city", not in a dormitory one. Public transport is good, but better for me is biking: living in the center I can go virtually everywhere by bike. Amenities and supermarkets etc. are at walking distance. I find this is also important. It is not an expensive city, and accommodation is affordable. The city is full with history and green areas. This is not an impersonal and monotnous one, and I also appreciate that. The city is safe. The worst crime is bike theft. *What would I change* I think that Graz loses part of its attractive because on daytime many, many vehicles (cars) move in, from towns nearby the city. I would consider a tax to enter in the city by motorize transport, and offer a solution like park and ride (you park the car in the outskirts and then move to the center by public transport). *Where would I move* I would find nice to live in Barcelona (Spain is my home country), the Netherlands (where I am living now) or Portland (USA). I think that the three places are more or less equivalent in health care or safety. But there are also significant differences between them. Netherlands and Portland outmatch by far Spain in matters of Job opportunities. The Netherlands is especially good in transportation, but lacks the environment attractiveness that I like from Spain. And the climate is also an influencing factor, and one of the main points of Spain. Lack, I have the Perception of Portland as a culturally vibrant city.
