The top-5 criteria that I think contribute the most to a city's livability are: 1. Job opportunities. 2. Safety. 3. Infrastructure. 4. Environment. 5. Housing. **Question 2** I am currently living in Giessen, a city located in the west Germany, and the main reason why I am living here are: 1. I am working in Giessen. 2. Giessen has a very good infrastructure and transportation system. It has also a big train station which is considered in the middle of Hessen (the federal state) so it is a very good connection point. 3. It is location in the west Germany is quite far from the east, where in some cities people are sometimes offensive and do not like foreigners. 4. It is a students' city, so living expenses are quite good, not like other very big cities. 5. Giessen has two universities, one of them contains architecture department. So it is good for me when sometimes I need to go there -*to the library for example*-, and it is about 15 minutes from my home. ![Giessen Train Station][1] ![Giessen bus lanes][2] **Question 3** The rates of my place of residence are: 1. Job opportunities: 90% 2. Safety: 96% 3. Infrastructure: 95% 4. Environment: 98% 5. Housing: 60% And the overall rate of my place of residence is: 87.8% **Question 4** If I were the mayor of the city, I would build new housing units. The main problem in Giessen is that every semester new students arrive, a bigger number than those who leave, so we are facing a big problem in finding new apartments for those people. **Question 5** 3 places where I would like to move in are: London - Berlin - Munich. And the 5 qualities are: 1. Better job opportunities. 2. A lot of people from very different cultures. 3. Good infrastructure. 4. Good environment. 5. Better research chances.
