1. safety 2. environment 3. transportation 4. job opportunities 5. economy Question 2 Villette, (Lavaux) Switzerland 1. Location (close to Lausanne, where I work) 2. Accessibility (2 minutes from the train station) 3. Price (cheaper than Lausanne town center) 4. Quietness, direct sunshine and unobstructed views (as a small low density village in the middle of the vineyards). 5. Proximity to the lake (for recreational reasons) ![Villette - Lavaux - vue from above][1] Question 3 My place of residence fulfills 90% my 5 main livability criteria, mostly because it's a beautiful low density village with all the benefits of its proximity with a medium sized city (Lausanne, population 130.000). The other 10% lies in the fact that accessibility by train could be improved, as I have only one train per hour and it's often too crowded. Economy and job opportunities are criteria that I consider on a more extended scale, and living on the outskirts of a city like Lausanne, those are integrally fulfilled. Question 4 The first thing I would change as the mayor of my village would be the accessibility by bus, as I think changes in the train schedule would present a greater challenge to establish because it's a nationwide network. The closest bus stop is just 2 km away (15 minutes walk), and has buses each 15 minutes to center Lausanne, but as my village is outside the existent urban transportation zone, we don't have any bus service. Question 5 I don't plan to move anytime soon, but if I would have the opportunity I would like to move to Australia or New Zealand, in the proximity of a big town. 1. Mild climate 2. Proximity to the ocean 3. English speaking countries 4. Economical stability 5. Culture and environment [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14578028222161372.jpg
