According to me, when I think of an ideal city, the top 5 livability criteria in a city are: 1. International connectivity 2. Sanitation standards 3. Recreation Possibilities 4. Economy 5. Infrastructure **Q.2 Why do we live where we live?** I have lived in the city of Dubai, UAE since thepast 10 years and watched it develop into the multicultural hub that it is right now. The top 5 livability criteria in Dubai are: 1. Infrastructure 2. International connectivity 3. Safety 4. Sanitation standards 5. Transport **Q. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** 1. International connectivity - 100% Dubai is one of the few places in the world where you have people of all cultures living harmoniously. 2. Sanitation standards - 100% Dubai is one of the cleanest cities 3. Recreation Possibilities - 50% Dubai is working on it, naturally the UAE doesn't have a lot of natural resources and places to visit. However, it has built a lot of tourist destinations which have considerably boosted the economy. For example : Ski Dubai is the highest indoor skiing slope. In a desert! 4. Economy- 65% Due to its economy currently relying heavily on oil & gas reserves, the economy is currently a bit shaky. 5. Infrastructure - 100% One of the most well developed and advanced cities in terms of construction and infrastructure. ![Dubai][1] **4. What would you change?** I would change the recreation possibilities as a young employed woman, I find Dubai to be expensive. **5. Why do we move?** Three cities or places I would move to : 1. Edinburgh : I love the history and culture in Edinburgh 2. San Francisco : I love th job opportunities in that city. Love the architecture. 3. Mumbai : Home town.
