1.Culture 2.Transportation 3.Infrastructure 4.Safety 5.Climate -Why do I live here: I live in Ahmedabad because it is my hometown where I was born, my whole family resides here and even my university is here, the scale of this city is not as large as Mumbai in India but not even very small, for me it is the perfect size with not an overcrowded population. There is good food available, and being a vegetarian it is really convenient to live here instead of anywhere else. Also Gujarat is a dry state so there is no alcohol available so there is a factor of safety, where you will not find any drunk person roaming around on the road. -I will give 82 out of 100 on the ideal livability criteria. Considering culture, Ahmedabad has one of the best dance festivals in the country known as navratri and it represents the culture of my city. There is a lot of old heritage like mosques and ancient architecture in the old city which adds on to the whole. Then there is a newly bus service called the BRTS through which there is an efficient usage of the roads as the road is divided into three parts wherein the BRTS runs in the middle. Infrastructurally it is still developing but will be in a great shape in a few years. As I already talked about Gujarat being a dry state it is extremely safe to live in. The climate is a bit extreme because of the tropical zone. ![][1] ![][2] -There are a few problems with the cleanliness, so I would take serious measures in order to keep the city clean. Even there are a group of people who live under the poverty line, so I would improve their standard of living by giving them better job opportunities. -If I will have to move then I would like to go to: 1.Auroville 2.Sikkim 3.Mahabaleshwar 4.Goa 5.Ooty Considering the weather the above cities would be in my priority list. And also coastal areas and picturesque places give a completely different landscape in order to start a new life there. These are small towns with no disturbance and so one can get a peace of mind.
