We found more parks, close recreations in a friendly neigborhood. (It seemed more safety than now but actually the insecurity is increasing in all the city of Lima and Callao). 4. Transportation in order to be connected with many places. We live close to a principal avenue where we can go on a public transportation to many cities. 5. Possibility to find good schools closely we just walked 4 blocks to get there. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? 1. Safety 40 2. Housing 45 3. First of all, I would improve the city laws. Callao is an independent city as Lima. So we already have a Urban Development Plan for a long term but it’s neccessary that new authorities continue with the plan and do not let it as a “theoretical document”.Furthermore, laws in common that help in borders of the cities. We need a real compromise with the city where we live. Talking about safety, recycling, accesibility, green areas and support existing options in neighborhoods. For instance: Recycling: I would create a service where reciclers can work organized. Defining 2 days where families could leave waste inorganic on ecobags gived for this service. Safety: Close the Streets is not a solution. I would improve the service on security cams and the Street lighting in order to help police service. ![santarosa avenue][4] Accesibility: I would improve ramps for disabled people and create bycicle ways to reduce demand of cars. Environment: We live in a dessert practically. So I don’t know why the goverment in general think grass is the only solution. I would improve our plant nursery. We need plants that consume less water. Why do I move? In case I would find a safety place and better job opportunities, I would move back right here but in another district like Miraflores. About to move to another country I would like Canada in a city like Vancouver or Italy like Florence. The reasons would be Safety, Climate & Good Environment, Social interaction, Culture and Gastronomic possibilities.
