k. Job opportunities d. Education e. Safety p. Transportation b. Culture **2. Why do we live where we live?** I live in Cuenca, a medium city located in Ecuador, Southamerica. I live here because this is the city I was born in and all my family is here, but still there are also plenty reasons why we all (my family and I) have stablished here. 2.1. STABILITY. My family has found my city very stable with no economic/political/social changes. 2.2. SAFETY. It is a medium sized city, and therefore it is a very safe and quiet city and doesn't have much chaos or violence. 2.3. ENVIRONMENT. Our city has a nice environment its is surrounded by nature and nice open spaces it is not a crowded city. 2.4. SIZE. The size of our city it is perfect there are no long distances and many traffic problems to get where we have to go. Bu in the present we are having little problems because of our urban expansion and this criteria seems a little bit threaten by the massive immigration we are currently having. 2.5. CULTURE. Yanuncay River][3] **3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** I think Cuenca fulfills my ideal livability criteria in a 70% 3.1. JOB OPPORTUNITIES 80% there are lots of job opportunities in my city, people from other towns come to Cuenca searching for jobs. 3.2. EDUCATION 85% We have plenty of good schools and universities, one of the most ranked in the country, but still i think we need more education facilities and better infrastructure for education. 3.3. SAFETY 75% Cuenca is a "safe" city, but there are still parts of our city that are still very dangerous. 3.4 TRANSPORTATION 40% I think this is the lowest percentage, because or public transportation it is not good, sometimes it is not safe to use it even though our service it is regular and fast, but the buses are not good. 3.5 CULTURE 75% There are still a little bit "transitional" problems with it. **4. What would you change?** I would change the transportation system. I move myself always by bicycle but there are no preferences for cyclists and the bus service doesn't let you take your bicycles everywhere and in general it doesn't work so good. **5. Why do we move?** To achieve a better life style that fulfills all our current needs. Needs as a family or needs as young people it always depends on what we are searching. I would like to Live in: 5.1. Copenhagen - Denmark. City movement, activities, environment, job opportunities, transport, education. 5.2.Munchen - Germany Education, activities, environment, transport, proximity. 5.3. London - England Education, job opportunities, environment, activities.
