a) Safety b) Sanitation Standard c) Jobs opportunities d) Housing e) Political stability *Why do we live where we live?* My case is different because I’m advisor en an International Cooperation Project, I work for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the GIZ staff are always working in developing countries worldwide. I´m going to talk about my country election. I’m living in Mexico City two years ago, I had been chose Mexico for different questions, the first one is the possibility to collaborate in a NAMA Implementation and the option to live with my family, all together beacuse before to work in Mexico I had been travel a lot of time. When my wife and myself think about the possibility to change our residence with evaluate these criteria: 1. Security and safety situation in the city, especially the neighborhood 2. Health care in the city especially in the neighborhood 3. Sanitation standard 4. The education opportunities for my children 5. Political stability, in my daily job is very important this situation because in countries with political problem provably we will go out of the country quickly and for my family stability probably will be a plight. The order of my criteria ask to whom, when and where, because just now the most important criteria are different than several years ago. ![][1] 1 Security and safety ![][2] 2Hospital near the neighborhood ![][3] 3 Sanitation standard ![][4] 4 Education opportunities ![][5] 5 Political Stability *To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?* ![][6] General livability score for my city. ![][7] *What would you change?* I think the first option could be a strategic plan to increase the Livability of the City, and the first action of the strategic plan must be, rebuild surrounding space with context sensitive solutions (e.g. squares, streets, parkland), probably this action provide some improvements; security and safety in the public space, safe routes to school, placemaking zones and probably complete streets. *Why do we move?* Madrid 1.
