• SAFETY • HEALTH CARE • EDUCATION • JOB OPPORTUNITY • INFRAESTRUCTURE **2.- WHY DO I LIVE WHERE I LIVE?** I live in CUSCO - PERU and these are the reasons: 1. CULTURE: Cusco is an historical city, capital of the ancient empire of the Incas, a city that maintain the colonial architecture legacy of the Spain colonization, in the other hand there is the irregular growing of the city which is out of the historical center of the city, this problem need some regulations. However, the first characteristic that comes to mind when you thing about Cusco is Cultural, because is a city with living traditions where the principal economic activity is the tourism. 2. ENVIROMENT: Cusco is a city located in a valley on the Andes of Perú, surrounded by mountains, agricultural fields, lagoons with a widely variety of fauna and the air is not so contaminated because there are not many factories in the city ; perhaps that beauty, the growing population, migration, etc. are becoming to occupy green areas; agricultural fields have been leaved a side, people build in irregular way, having in the borders of the city a disorganizated development that should be solved. 3. CLIMATE: The climate in Cusco is changeable, it could sun and rain anytime, seasons are not marked, it is like being in spring always green, air pure and nights are cold because Cusco is located in the Andes. However, I prefer warn climate. 4. HOUSING: Getting a house in Cusco is relative easy because is a growing city and you can find a place to live confortable near to the center of city; also housing business is recently beginning in comparison to other cities like: Lima, Arequipa, etc. 5. SAFETY: Cusco is a safety city in comparison to the capital: Lima; however it seems that insecurity is always growing, you can live with that kind of worry because Cusco is still a small growing city. ![Av. Climate: I prefer Warm climate, where people can enjoy walking outdoor, exercising, playing, going to the beach, making possible to have more parks and green areas to be used always. 2. Education and Job Opportunity: I believe that one the most important contribution that a government can make to improve its society is to invest in education, which would be reflected in better job opportunities. 3. Safety: I think that anyone want to live in a place worry about safeness, if safety is a minor problem to solve, the development of a city in terms of livability should be approached. 4. Culture: Each country or even place in the world has a particular culture, traditions, history, etc. I think a good place to live in, should have cultural variety to enhance the experience to live there, and that could be possible if that place receive people for all around to world, living there with the same benefits as the locals, all into the law. 5. Environment: Living in a city where environmental care receives the priority attention of the government and the society makes that place a high reference of livability.
