I think that hierarchy that these livability criteria must follow has to be determined by the needs to survive of the human being and after that by the needs to its own development, there's a clear difference in the need of water supply between the need of health care, you cannot have health if you don’t have a clean water source. That’s the general idea of the next criteria hierarchy: 1. Environment 2. Transportation 3. Education 4. Infrastructure 5. Economy **2.Why do we live where we live?** I live in Santa Ana, it’s a small city of El Salvador a country that it's located in Central America. Google Maps: [Santa Ana][1] ![Central America][2] ![El Salvador][3] ![Santa Ana dep][4] ![Santa Ana city][5] ![Cathedral of Our Lady of santa ana][6] Cathedral of Our Lady of santa ana The reason why I live here are: **1.I was born here,** I have de philosophy of thrive where we were born, the best place for success is where we are. **2.Family,** All my family and Friends are here. **3.Culture,** My place have a very particular culture forged by the colonial period. ![El Tazulma][7] Archaeological center "El Tazumal" **4.Environment,** My country produces less than 0.5% of global carbon emissions, so the environment on my country may be consider clean and also it's a tropical country, we have 6 month of rain. **5. Recreation opportunities**, there's a lot of natural places to visit. ![Coatepeque][8] Coatepeque Lake in Santa Ana **3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** ![livability santa ana][9] According to graph the general score for Santa Ana city is the average of the criteria above: 35+68+55+42+91=291/5=58.2 **4. What would you change?** As you can see the biggest problems of Santa Ana are economy, transportation and education so the solution the poor livability score of the city (58.2) is to increase the investment on these areas, Santa Ana has a poor education, teachers do not improve their skills and the education generally is not as it supposed to be, we need to connect with other international educational institutions to get a better education and we need to improve the infrastructure, also we have to connect to internet in order to have access to updated science; when it’s about transportation, it’s really cheap (only $0.25 to go thru the city on public transportation) but the vehicles are really old and they pollute a lot plus there's no security on the system, to solve this problem we have to update the public transportation and repair all damaged streets and economy it’s a problem that concern to the country, I think that to really increase economy we have make that the outcome become an income by making the services public again (They are nowadays private) and making some of the most producing enterprises public. **5. Why do we move?** **Metapán city, Located in El Salvador, Central America (I already know this city)** 1. Because is my job location 2. Security: Its one of the most secure town on the country. 3. Low pollution: It's a small town so no contaminants are produced. 4. Economy: The economy of the town is supported by a factory of cement that has a low environmental impact. 5. Politics, The political situation is stable. **Brasilia, Brazil, South America** 1. Job Opportunities 2. Security 3. health Care 4. Cultural 5. Architecture **Madrid, Spain, Europe.** 1. Culture 2. Architecture 3. Security 4. Education 5. transportation [1]: https://www.google.com.sv/maps/search/santa+ana/@13.9838741,-89.5978411,13z [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565243742571025.png [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565244074927808.png [4]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565244463638365.png [5]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565244724643292.png [6]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/145652450154448.jpg [7]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565245914002008.jpg [8]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565250271058347.jpg [9]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14565251656972766.png
