I would define livability as the combination of characteristics in a city that make it attractive to its inhabitants. It’s the conjunction of factors such as energy, mobility, climate and infrastructure, paired up with society as whole to make the city a functioning ecosystem and making possible for every inhabitant to live in it and experience the place regardless of social sphere. **2. If you need to define livability with the following terms, how would you rank them?** (1: most important - 7: least important) ![Livability aspects ranking][1] ![Livability scores][2] ![Customized livability scores][3] **Washington DC** Health is very important to me. When I customized the term Health at the Livability index into a higher importance, the total livability score went up. This means that the city has already good health and changes in this aspect won’t add up too much to average since there are other aspects when it is lacking attention.
