Livability is the capacity that a building, town or city has to offer to their citizens, this capacity is defined as a group of criteria such as safety, income possibilities, living options, climate, culture, private and public transportation, equality and inclusion, health, and city governance. 2. **If you need to define livability with the following terms, how would you rank them? (1: most important - 7: least important)** The definition of the importance of criteria of livability depends on many variables, these variables also are defined in different ways by the people, the concept of health is not the same of a 50 year old man compared with the concept of 15 years old boy. so these concepts change depending of the place, the age, the race, the society, the gender, etc. so my concept of importance of these terms is defined by my own experience and may be different to the concept of any other. The importance that I have try to describe is given by basic need of the human being for example you mustn't have social involvement if you don't have a proper house. ![Personal Ranking of the importance of criteria][1] 3. **Choose three cities in the United States (preferable cities in different states) and go to the following webpage: https://livabilityindex.aarp.org. Search for the chosen cities at the livability index.** Arkansas/Denver/Texas 4. **Have a look at the livability scores. How high is the livability score of every city? Please note the scores of this question in a table like the one below. Click on "customize this score" and customize the scores according to your rankings for question 2. Shift all the bars to the left (less important), except from the term which is most important to you. Shift the bar of your "number one" to the right (more important).** ![Score of livability of Arkansas, Denver and Texas][2] 5. **How much has the livability score of every city changed? Please note the scores of this question in a table like the one below.** ![Comparison of cities][3] 6. **Can you explain the change in livability scores of your cities? Do this on basis of the terms in your ranking (e.g. Transport is very important to me.** The change in livability scores depends on the importance of the criteria, since this score depends on changeable criteria, every one of us may have a different score for each city. in my case Texas did not change because the importance of Environment is the same as the average of the importance of other terms, The score of Denver decreases because the environment term is low rated in comparison to other terms and Arkansas increases the score in 4 points, that means that the environment is high rated for this city.
