Job opportunities : I was offer an attractive job position in Hanoi 2. International Connectivity : From Hanoi it's very easy to travel by plane and to visite different international cities within the week-end 3. Cost of living : The relatively low price of things and cheap labour cost allow different kind of experimentation and production of objects. It's also very easy to access to all kind of services proposed in the city. ![international artist at residence in its temporary studio][1] 4. Exotic : Coming from Switzerland, it's very interesting to see how a communist emerging city under development is changing year after year. ![Hanoi mobility and energy][2] 5. Housing : Easy to find the perfect accomodation with affordable price. ![Hanoi view from a living room][3] **Question 3 :** 0. General Hanoi liveability rate : 60; 1. Education : 20; 2. Housing : 70; 3. Climate : 50; 4. Recreational possibilities : 40; 5. Infrastructure : 20; It's very interesting to notice that my top criteria for a good city don't fit with Hanoi. The city it's not the best at many regards, however the reason why I choose this city fulfil my expectation and my needs at this specific moment of my life. **Question 4 :** The first thing I would change is the overall infrastructure in the city to fit with the new needs of an emerging city and help it to develop in a sustainable way. **Question 5 :** HONGKONG : 1. attractivity; 2. environment; 3. language (english); 4. culture; 5. safety / SINGAPORE : 1. job opportunity; 2. pollution; 3.
