- Economy - Politicial stability - Safety - Education - Culture Why do we live where we live? Now temporarily I live in Dessau, Germany. Here're reasons I'd like to cover: 1. There’s enough of bureaucracy, that on the one hand makes life here more organized, but sometimes looks preposterous and underdeveloped. But in spite of it Germany is one of industrialized countries that makes it winning on the labour market among different kinds of professions. 2. None of countries can be perfectly stable, but in comparison with another country where I lived before I can affirm that Germany deals with it somehow. And in small cities any of problems and disturbances are not so noticeable. 3. The first time when I didn’t feel scared while coming back home in the late evening was in Dessau. It’s a charm of small cities here – population composition mostly consists of old age people that makes it calm and pretty. 4. Germany offers really cheap education for international students and citizens. Here I’m getting relevant and recent knowledge that gives a possibility to be well informed of innovation in current spheres. 5. Our small city is full of multi-international inhabitants and students, that makes it the great example of equality, social development and tolerance. This country is very careful to all kinds of social inequality now that gives rise to respect. Apart from that, the culture is similar to most of Europeans and makes communication and living in common here much easier. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? Scale of 1 = poor and 100 = excellent Dessau can be ranked as follows: - Economy = 94 - Politicial stability = 78 - Safety = 97 - Education = 98 - Culture = 90 - General = 91 What would you change? I would increase the quantity of job places for getting the internship for a great amount of youth who study here. Sometimes the lack of offers forces to move to bigger cities that make life much more difficult according to competition, searching places to live and expenses. In addition I would improve some cultural aspects: firstly, develop abandoned areas in Sachsen and to create more cultural centers for teens to avoid undesirable behavior and early pregnancies. Why do we move? I'd like to move to the next cities: Munich: - Job Opportunities - Economy (The Level of Salary) - Housing (High Quality) - Culture - Environment Amsterdam: - Culture (Uniqueness of the City and Its Location) - International Connectivity - Environment - Recreation Possibilities - Housing Sydney - Job Opportunities - Politicial Stability - Infrastructure - Safety - Culture ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14452058605681235.jpg
