Environment Education Infrastructure Safety Transportation. 2. Why do we live where we live? Nowadays I live in Bogota, Colombia. The main reason why i live in this city is because of the job opportunities Job opportunities Education Recreation possibilities Distance to my place and family Economy ![enter image description here][1] ![enter image description here][2] ![enter image description here][3] Nevertheless, in the present days Bogota has serious problems with transport systems. Most of the population travel by bus or "transmilenio", but unfortunately I think those systems are collapsing. ![enter image description here][4] ![enter image description here][5] ![enter image description here][6] 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? I chose as the most important factor for a perfect quality of life, “Environment”. I strongly believe that if we don’t have a city with a balanced environment, all other factors are being leading to a wrong way. I would rate the environment with 30 points. I would rate Bogota with a general score of 50 points. 4. What would you change? if I were the mayor, the first thing I definitely would do, would be improving the urban transport system, because the one that we have in the present is collapsing. New people are coming to Bogota every day, and transportation system remain the same, therefore, now it is getting smaller and slower. 5. Why do we move? If I could change my place of residence, I would definitely choose: Frankfurt: The city was proposed that 100 percent of its energy come from renewable sources in 2050. A third of the city area are green areas. Because it is a compact city, most travel distances are short. 15 per cent of journeys are made by bicycle. Medellin: Medellin is the first city in Colombia to have a public policy Biodiversity. As far as the transport system respect, Medellin is one of the most envied cities of Colombia, because of the effectiveness of the “METRO” since 1995 and the opening and inauguration of the tram on the 15th October this year. Amsterdam: In 2025, Amsterdam is committed to reduce its CO2 emissions by 40 percent compared to 1990 .. The city of Amsterdam was elected in 2009 the first smart city in Europe because of its urban distribution without altering its main natural resources. Other reasons why I would love to live in this city are: Sustainable [1]: http://imageshack.com/a/img911/8667/BLHo0L.png [2]: http://imageshack.com/a/img910/6295/xCJ6J6.png [3]: http://imageshack.com/a/img903/9829/tcd3Ty.png [4]: http://imageshack.com/a/img911/326/9nQbwk.png [5]: http://imageshack.com/a/img905/549/7xBWST.png [6]: http://imageshack.com/a/img907/6020/rMJg5m.png
