1-Economy 2-Environment 3-Infrastructure 4-Safety 5-Housing **2. Why do we live where we live?** I live in Lugano, Switzerland (TI) as an expat. I chose to live here because of the high quality of life which means good working conditions, high standard of of infrastructure (including housing and all sorts of technical facilities) and safety. I also appreciate the good climate (if compared to northern Europe and other regions in Switzerland) the culture and people (mediterranean way of life meets "swissness"). Last but not least I should mention the legendary beauty of the landscape where you can practice every kind of alpine sport in a stunning scenery. ![View of Lugano from Monte Bre][1] **3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria?** Economy 90% Environment 80% Infrastructure 70% Safety 90% Housing 80% General livability: 80% **4. What would you change?** The city should improve the public transport service which does not meet the high national standard. Mobility is based on private vehicles which causes massive traffic problems every day. The roads do not have enough capacity and building new ones takes far too much time. I would support more investment in critical infrastructure. **5. Why do we move?** If I had to move I could see myself living in A) Sydney B) San Francisco C) Rio de Janeiro because I love (and somehow miss) places where you can have a very urban lifestyle, meet many expats and live by the sea. Good climate (long summers and not too cold even in winter) is also a plus as well as a good choice of affordable property. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14448187721306594.png
