![scheme of two two routes plus table ][1] Both ways are taking almost the same time but I can’t always trust the tram timetable because it depends highly on the traffic on the streets whereas the metro is independent transport. The advantage I see in the tram is that I do not have to change it with another mode of transport and it is direct. However it is much slower than the metro not only because of the traffic but also because it can’t move very fast because the equipment and the vehicles are old. The walking time and distance are almost the same in the both routes so they are not a matter of choosing. They also cost the same money. I have used the metro more times mainly because I can trust its schedule but I really like travelling by bus, trolley or tram through the city because I can see the city and I do not feel like I’m stuffed in a dark can. And actually I chose this place of residence where I’m living now because even if I want to use a public transport I’ll be walking at least 10 min.
