Depending on the time of the end of the day or end or in-between destination, I choose to travel route 1 or 2. Route 1 only if I know that I can travel back home before 18 hrs, as the bus frequents only 1 per hour after 18:30 hrs. This route is more comfortable, as the bus stop is only 200 m from home, which is great in heavy rain, hail, snow and/or strong winds. Also, it prevents parking bike at impossible places near train station. I go by route 2, when I know that I’ll be traveling back late in the evening, or if an in-between meeting is situated nearby a trainstation that requires less transference. Down side is a) cycling during bad weather, and b) always parking problems. The trainstation has a good parking garage, but this is more full than available and it’s extra costs. The total amount of travel time differs between route 1 and 2, but is not defining for my choice of route. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1448639307767405.png
