There's a big park between my home and university and going through it is one of the main perks of walking or biking, specially in spring or in early autumn. The streets are also quite interesting, full of shops and people. The time it takes to go by foot is too long for everyday. I walk to university or back from it when I'm with family or friends going in the same direction. For the same perks if I'm alone I use one of the municipal electric bikes. The metro is the usual option when I'm tired or in a hurry or want to read something while in transit or it's winter. The bus gets caught in terrible traffic jams at peak times and can be unreliable. I however find it more comfortable than the metro.
