The footpaths/sidewalks in the city of Toronto are very well maintained so this route is safe for the pedestrians. This route is pleasant for most of the period but can be exhausting and time taking in the winter season specially when it starts snowing as the bus frequency and the travel time may vary as per the conditions. Route 2 - I take this route daily. It takes around 1 hour to reach the destination. There are 2 transfers. There is less than a kilometer to walk both ways. Subways are relatively fast has high frequency as compared to buses. Also there is no issue with subways during snowfall as 90% of the route is underground. In subways i get time to socialize with daily passengers. It is convenient. Route 3 - This route is convenient for people owning cars. It takes less than half of the time taken by public transport to reach the destination. The route is an Expressway. It saves time. I personally encourage public transport .
