Safety Economy Education Health care Transportation 2 __My city El Attaf, belongs to the wilaya ( state ) of Ain Defla located about 162 kilometres west of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. With an estimated area of 57 737 square Kilometres , this fast growing city is composed of about 30 % commercial buildings, small manufactures, workshops, mosques, one church, schools, medical facilities, transit stations and houses and 70% of farms and vacant lots, with a population of about 62 000 people. The reasons why we live in El Attaf are : • Access to healthy food. Attaf has many farms providing fresh produce and quality food every day; • Good access healthcare; my city has many medical facilities that provide round the clock quality healthcare; • Very affordable gaz prices for homes and cars; • Easy access to quality primary, secondary and trade schools (plumber, mason, electricians, etc...); • Good transportation system (train, buses, taxi services, good highway system). 3 __ In relation to my top 5 criteria I give El Attaf a score of 65%. __ I would give Attaf an overall livability score of 20%. 4__ If I was elected mayor, my first priority would be to build a stronger economy so that the city could create more job opportunities and could improve water systems, infrastructure, waste management and sanitation, cultural life and services to the population. 5__ The three cities I would choose to move to are: Singapore: environment, health care, good economy, good transportation system and safety. Ottawa: environment, education, safety, economy, job opportunities.
