- it was cheaper than an office there and a flat elsewhere - transportation times are not free times, neither hobbies times, only tiredness times - I had 2 minutes walk from my office, to my… kitchen… pretty cool! - it is easier to have better rent conditions when you’re both a firm and a person Even I moved to another country some years later, I adopted the same organization, because I couldn’t imagine another way of life. I opted for a place away from a big town, near a forest, easy to reach, with really good buses and trains connections. And a daily walk in the forest brought me more than every minute in transportation. For this 9.6 exercise, I’ll show you what’s happening when I’m in **London** - travelling from **"home", an hotel in Battersea,** to **Knightsbridge**, my **"work" place** where I have my business contacts. ![Knightsbridge][1] ![Battersea][2] The entire journey **by bus** is about **42 minutes.** ![journey by bus][3] While the walkways along the Thames are very well conceived, **I come back on feet**, and my journey is about **65 minutes**, but very interesting, meeting people and animals. ![journey on feet][4] Even in London, we can feel such a privileged quite place along the river.
