![enter image description here][2] I have looked at three possible ways for me to get to work in Aarhus, Denmark from my home in Aalborg, Denmark. Since I'm living more that 100km away in another city the options are quite limited as you can imagine. **Route No. 1** It is my personal preference. Since I live just next to the train station in Aalborg it is very convenient and relatively quick compared with other possibilities. Plus I win almost one and a half hour on the train to read books, browse on the internet or take some on-line courses. In other words I can take the time I spend commuting back and get something beneficial out of it. And since my work is not far from train station in Aarhus walking that small distance is very pleasant. There is no need to try and catch city bus, because that would only take longer with the morning traffic (or maybe not I haven't tried it yet). **Route No. 2** To be honest I have never taken a car to work. In fact I do not even own a drivers license. But in my experience riding with friend morning traffic is a nightmare. Especially in Aarhus where I would arrive in the very peak hours if I was driving. It is annoying on its own and on top of that you get parking problems when you get to work. As well in this way I couldn't do anything else, but to drive this would be a time that I'm not getting back. Cost wise I think it would turn out more expensive way of commuting not mentioning the pollution.... **Route No. 3** Third option would be a bus ride. Walking wise it would be approximately the same, since train and bus stations are very close to each other in both cities. On the other hand bus rides are nowhere nearly as comfortable as train or even car rides. That is in addition to the fact that buses to travel directly between Aalborg and Aarhus at the time when I would need them. So being less comfort, longer travel time and changing buses adds up to more tiring trip than actually working.
