1) On foot: I always choose this route when I am walking: ![enter image description here][1] It takes 11 minutes, it is a 850 meter walk. It is a pleasant walk, because I can go through the old city center, the Petofi Sandor pedestrian street. The houses form the street, because they are one next to the other, separating the public space (the pedestrian street) from the private space (the house and its garden). 2) With car: 2.a) From home to my grandmother: ![enter image description here][2] Since all the streets are one direction, this is the one possible route to my grandmother. I can get in the car in front of my apartment and stop next to her gate, so there is no measurable walking here. 2.b) From my grandmother to home: There are 2 possibilities: 2.b.1) The one I usually use is this: ![enter image description here][3] As you can see it is a 5 minute, 2.5 kilometer ride, but I only have 5 intersections, which are usually not crowded. 2.b.2) The other route back home: ![enter image description here][4] As you can see it is a zig-zag route, this is why I don't choose it. Since the city has been renewed, in the center you only have one-way streets. This route is a 7 minute, 2.3 kilometer route, but with 8 intersections, usually crowded. For me the table is simple: Route 1 - by foot: 850 meter, 11 minute walk. Route 2 - with car: Going there (2.a) is 800 meter car, ~0 meter walk. Going home (2.b.1) is 2.5 kilometer with car, ~0 meter walk.
