Home-Work route in Caracas, Venezuela
FC-02x Livable Future Cities (1st Run) - Compulsory Exercise 5

I now live in a part of the city where there are no sidewalks at all. To go to work I usually take an express way that runs at the foot of the Avila Mountain. It's a very pleasent ride, and a very fast one as well. I get to the studio in 20 minutes or less. When I can't use my car, I usually take the subway. It's a very strange and unpleasent walk from my house to the subway station (19 minutes more or less). Then, if everything is okay, the train gets me to Plaza Venezuela Station in about 20 more minutes. Then I have to walk 17 minutes to my studio. A part of that walk is through a beautiful street covered by very large tropical trees, but it is also a very lonely and dangerous street, where prostitutes use to hang out and wait for customers. Sometimes I take a walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch or for a cup of coffee. It is a very short walk (650 meters, or 8 minutes). Since I'm usually in a car, I really enjoy this walk. The problem is that this part of the city is becoming more and more dangerous. I was robbed during one of these walks some months ago (they took my iPhone, threatening me with a gun). So... as you can imagine, I take these little walks less often now. ![https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14480576417633805.jpg][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14480576417633805.jpg
