Jardin Circunvalar The Garden Circunvalar Medellin as part of the Metropolitan Green Belt is a comprehensive strategy for transforming the short and medium term edge areas, where it is the urban and the rural city. With the launch of this project milestones with works and actions on the territory accompanying the orderly development are generated, while the community is prepared by the Educational Planning to participate in its construction and assume the importance of controlling urban growth in these areas of high slope, where risk conditions are presented than necessary. The benefits and scope of this project for the city, are summarized in the following qualities called attributes and realize its entirety: expansion control with a comprehensive vision of development; ,, secure, sustainable and affordable decent housing inclusive and public space structuring of the territory; comprehensive sustainability of land and connect the territory with quality. It is a space where programs and strategic city projects that seek to unify the urban fabric and the enjoyment of the community are articulated They are living for citizens to enjoy with the five senses and interact with water, lighting, sound, nature, landscape and flowers architectures. UVA brings social, community and municipal organizations which promote the promotion and development of sport, recreation and culture. This is a strategic project of the mayor 2012 - 2015 'Medellin A Home for Life ", is led by the Deputy Mayor for Education, Culture, Participation, Recreation and Sports, where local government works together in a coordinated manner: INDER, Secretariat Citizen Culture, EPM and EDU to make a working manner in which this whole new standard city is built. The Mayor of Medellin build 20 units Life Articulated UVA. Of these, 12 are type A (lots located in tanks EPM) EPM executes and designs (Santo Domingo, Campo Valdes, Moscow, Versailles, the Tablaza, Altavista, Nutibara, Pedregal, Porvenir, Orphanage, Gerona, Santa Elena) and 8 B (batch Municipality) type the EDU designs and executes INDER (San Antonio, New West, Sol de Oriente, Castilla la Frontera (competition), San Lorenzo, Belencito and Village).
