Climate, nature, hospitable, safety, connectivity Vienna, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Athens Amsterdam ranks very high on nature, safety and connectivity but has unstable weather due to the local climate. Also, in terms of hospitality although people are friendly, they are not very social with foreigners and it is very hard to feel integrated. Since almost everyone speaks English in the Netherlands it would be very nice if the locals would try to open up also to foreigners.
